This is a physical contemporary dance workshop. During the workshop, we will work with biomechanics, impulses, gravity, rebounce, flow, and long movement, playing with floorwork and levels.
I use technical principles from contemporary dance, breaking, and acrobatics. Gathering it together, we can use extreme physical movements without losing the flow, and play with the speed, softness and other qualities.
Vasko started with hip hop and house dance, taking part in many Russian and international battles, such as Juste Debout Italy, SDK, U-13, RMT, etc. Since 2016, Vasko has been working with FarFor Yo dance company, which mixes hip hop techniques with contemporary dance. during this period he has also practiced capoeira, acrobatics and yoga, which have since influenced his practice. He has been working with different choreographers, including Mike Tyus, Tomislav English, Niels Robitzky, Tori Wranes, Kseniya Shlezinger, Tatiana Chizhikova, Anna Abalihina, Pavel Gluhov, Ofir Yudilevich, and others. Vasko is a dancer with Kseniya Shlezinger dance project, and was a guest dancer with Yoann Bourgeois dance company, The Moscow State Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theatre, Fomenko workshop theatre, and other projects around the world.
