Set in an area of outstanding beauty in southern Portugal, immersed in a Natural Park (Ria Formosa) just a few metters from the sea,  Estúdio Yucca summer dance program offers a diverse opportunity to reconnect with your unique movement through dance improvisation, Contact Improvisation, artistic expression, somatic exploration, Axis Syllabus, Osteopathy and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy.

Every month we invite international teachers, dancers, performers, movement researchers to share their craft and to co-create a wholesome experience.

We will dance on a beautiful outdoor wooden floor surrounded by pine trees just meters from the ocean and the Ria F. Natural Park.

In this rich and poetic setting we’ll dive into the captivating sessions generating a creative, powerfull and transformative work, developing the skills to be able to care for, engage, respect, and respond to that state of openness in oneself, others and our environment.

Each immersion will give participants the opportunity to delve deeply into the wisdom embedded within embodied practices, both in the studio space, as well as exploring movement scores in the outstanding natural environment surrounding the space (weather permitting).
