Komoco Dance Company dancer, Glenda Gheller will teach excerpts from KOMOCO Repertory. KC workshop is open to movers from different backgrounds and offers a sense of totality in a physical and sensorial way through the exploration and therefore the discovery of new possibilities with our bodies. The laboratory ends with the sharing and learning of sections from KC choreographic repertoire currently on tour, “PUPO”, “IMA” and “Wabi-sabi”.

Yin Yue’s FOCO TECHNIQUE™ is an original and evolving dance vocabulary. Echoing her choreographic voice, FOCO TECHNIQUE™ is a unique contemporary form of dance movement rooted in Chinese classical and folk dance melded with the complex and diverse influences of the immigrant experience. The form grows from Yin’s own blended international background and a deep appreciation for precision, contrast, fluidity and musicality.

Davide Bonetti, ACRODANCE
This 2-day intensive workshop explores creative and expressive forms that open doors towards wider freedom of movement. The workshop includes technical Acrodance moves like floorwork, shoulder rolls, elbow work, and variations of cartwheels, as well as the creation of personalized sequences for participants to work on the fluidity of movement and transitions. It will also give space to the expressive and artistic universe of each participant through improvisation and movement research tasks.
