The next audition for the Milano Contemporary Ballet international training program for 2025/26, will be held in Milan on May 10th, 2025, applications are open

The international training program was created by Roberto Altamura, founder of Milano Contemporary Ballet and Milano City Ballet.
The program provides young dancers the necessary tools to complete their education and increase their potential, stimulating creativity and curiosity, working on each one’s personal quality and supporting in finding the most suitable path in the world of dance.
«Since 2015, our goal has been to offer our dancers a professionalizing experience that could direct them towards the world of work – claims Roberto Altamura – With this aim, we had different important collaborations: the re-stage of three repertoire works by Company Wayne McGregor, until 2018, and then the collaborations with companies like Vertigo Dance Company and Cie Hervé Koubi and with artists such as Raza Hammadi, Carolina Mancuso, Roser Lopez Espinosa, Yin Yue, Jiri Pokorny, Sandra Garcia and Jon Bond, among the others».
Milano Contemporary Ballet is not only a training program: it is a meeting point of cultures, languages, and experiences. Internationality characterizes our reality, where Italian, European and extra-European dancers meet. Milano Contemporary Ballet regularly hosts and collaborates with students coming from South Korea and Universities of Singapore.
THE TRAINING
The daily program, lasting 8 months, ranges from ballet technique, exploited with the goal of training contemporary dancers, to contemporary and modern techniques, floor work, partnering, choreographic composition and impro; besides this, the dancers regularly attend Pilates, biomechanics, anatomy, and movement analysis classes.
Milano Contemporary Ballet offers the unique opportunity to study and, at the same time, to increase one’s own knowledge with working experiences, through the participation in Italian and abroad festivals, theater performances, events and collaborations with artists, fashions brands and exponents of exponents of the Italian and international panorama of music.

IMPORTANT: In case of selection of dancers coming from an extra EU country, the dancer will be responsible for collecting the information about the release of a student visa in Italy.
