Instável presents the 14th edition of FAÍCC – Intensive Course in Interpretation and Choreography.

When: From January 12th to July 29th, 2026, in Porto, for a total of 700 hours.

The FAÍCC is an intensive and interdisciplinary program, embedded in the dynamic environment of Instável – Centro Coreográfico, where creators, performers, and multiple artistic projects converge. This vibrant and collaborative space provides direct contact with Porto’s artistic network, offering an immersive experience and real opportunities for collaboration. With over a decade of existence, FAÍCC has established itself as a reference program, welcoming both emerging artists and established professionals from the national and international contemporary dance scene.
Who is it for?
Aimed at performers and creators with a background in contemporary dance, including artists from contemporary circus and performance, seeking an intensive and transformative program.
Objectives
To explore interpretation and choreography in a safe environment, encouraging bodily and spatial experimentation.
To strengthen artistic identity through research and experimentation, allowing each participant to discover their own creative approach.
To promote collaboration and exchange between creators, performers, and mentors, with a non-hierarchical pedagogical approach.
To expand technical and creative repertoires with complementary modules such as dramaturgy, cultural production, video dance, and lighting techniques.
To stimulate the creation and presentation of multiple small-scale productions throughout the program.
To provide hands-on, professional training through mini-internships and integration in artistic projects at Instável or with its partners.

Costs for participants:
Early Bird Pay only €1,017 (+ €180 registration fee)
If you are eligible for the GDA Foundation scholarship and pay the registration fee by August 31.
This is the maximum discount available: 25% Early Bird + 30% GDA scholarship = 55% total discount.
